The Passion room takes its name from the frieze that runs along the perimeter of the room, featuring the Stories of the Passion of Christ by the famous Bolognese painter Amico Aspertini, painted around the end of the 1400s or at the turn of the new century. The environment was intended for residential use by the first wife of the engineer Zanvettori, Mariquita de ‘Foins Y Lleo, adorning it with stone fireplaces and furniture that were purchased in the antiques market, which have dates that do not go beyond the XVIII century, as evidenced by the fifteenth-century chest and painting depicting the penitent Magdalene by a Venetian painter of the second half of the sixteenth century.
